Jens Bergensten has today revealed why he decided to ‘leak’ Minecraft Beta 1.8 in a pre-release mode instead of releasing the actual update.
Jens admitted the he has stopped focusing on new features while he removes bugs. He added that he didn’t release Minecraft Beta 1.8 properly on Friday as “there are too many bugs”.
As of right now there is no known release date but this update is expected to come sometime in september and this will be the last update till minecraft isn't known as beta anymore. More then likely the full release and it will be on 11/11/2011
