Tonight is the first actual college football game on tap for the season and football fans are literally waiting on the edge of their seats. The announcement last night included the Ohio State football schedule but right now, fans are looking at the season opener tomorrow against Marshall.
For now, they carry a number 2 ranking in the Associated Press Top 25 Preseason Poll behind last year’s national champion squad Alabama. This first game should be a good period of warming up and watching for extraordinary efforts by various players. After this opener, the Buckeyes will need to get in gear because the onslaught is furious. Iowa, Penn State, Wisconsin and Miami are all opponents in this years Ohio State football schedule.
All of those teams are ranked in the top 25 so naturally Buckeye fans should expect to see more than their share of great plays this fall.
